Driving Quality Through Innovative System Reliability Solutions

Our Mission

At Sakura Software Solutions, our mission is to advance system reliability through innovative, next-generation solutions that empower teams to predict failures, improve quality, and build resilient systems from development through operation.

Our Story

Spending his career at Nokia Bell Labs, Kazu was immersed in software quality assurance practices and developed BRACE, a first-of-its-kind software reliability tool still used companywide at Nokia. Seeing opportunities for further innovation, he founded Sakura Software Solutions (3S) with two former Nokia colleagues, Rashid and Rory. 3S introduced STAR, an enhanced tool for zero-touch automation of defect prediction and corrective actions with advanced visualization.

Later, 3S introduced FUSION, a cloud-based platform for integrated software and hardware system reliability. Today, through collaboration with experts from industry and academia, 3S continues to advance STAR and FUSION, helping organizations improve software and system reliability in real-world applications.

What Is STAR?

STAR is a cloud-based platform that helps software teams predict, assess, and improve software quality. It brings predictive analytics and EVR (Escape Velocity Rate) into the QA process to support data-driven decisions and more confident software releases.

By enabling shift-left insight, STAR helps teams identify rising defect risk early, take corrective action sooner, and understand the impact of quality improvements. From early testing through post-deployment, STAR empowers teams to proactively manage defects and maintain software stability across the entire development lifecycle.

What Is FUSION?

Awarded by the National Science Foundation (NSF)

FUSION is a powerful cloud platform that brings software and hardware reliability together in one intuitive tool. NSF-awarded and built for engineering, QA, and reliability teams across industries such as automotive, aerospace, defense, telecom, industrial automation, and medical devices.

At the core of FUSION is an interactive graphical editor that allows teams to visually build and analyze system architectures. By combining visual system modeling with data-driven insights, FUSION helps teams predict, assess, and improve system performance from development through operations.
